Not to knock Ubisoft or anything but the Thermal Vision in Wildlands isn't very good looking: Clothing completely blocks body heat?), and maybe add other vision modes like Sonar or White Hot/Black Hot Thermal Vision. A cool detail would be to make the stones snowballs in the snowy mountain areas.Īnother addition from Blacklist would be hitting Y in the item wheel to switch between Night Vision and Thermal Vision (SGW3 also does the effect of Thermal Vision really well. Another item that Wildlands would greatly benefit from are throwable stones! Smaller area of effect than the diversion lures and you can have infinite of them since rocks are literally everywhere. I'd also make the drone a gadget available from the item wheel like in Blacklist and move vision modes to up on the D-pad.Īnother interesting addition from Blacklist would be the ability to toggle lethal/non-lethal melee takedowns with X. This would make selecting items easier and provide room to add new items (like breaching charges, smoke grenades, claymore mines, or T-UGS) in the future. I'd also leave the standard linear "tap to switch" function for those that want it. Maybe have to click the right stick or hit A to confirm the item. Personally, I think that in Wildlands you should be able to hold left on the D-pad to open up the Item Wheel and use the right stick to select the item. But in SGW3 (and Splinter Cell: Blacklist), you can hold down on the D-pad to open up the Item Wheel where you can select what item you want without tapping through the linear sequence. In Wildlands, items are selected in a linear order with left on the D-pad).
#HOW TO ZOOM IN ON YOUR SCOPE IN SNIPER GHOST WARRIOR 1 SERIES#
I'm just a passionate fan of the Ghost Recon series and want to see it be the best it can be. These are just my suggestions and are in no way demands of what should or should not be done with this beautiful and incredible game. I will be using the Xbox controls for reference. but there are some things that SGW3 does that Wildlands could benefit from emulating.

When it comes to features, Wildlands and Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 have similarities: Two weapons and a sidearm, emphasis on player choice, open world, skill trees, the stealth mechanics, etc. But there are a lot of things that this game tried that would be fantastic for Ghost Recon, if not Wildlands then beyond. It's one of those games that's good but it's bad but it's good but it's bad but it's good but it's bad but it's. I've been playing SGW3 quite a bit lately.
